“One individual life may be of priceless value to God’s purposes,

and yours may be that life.”

— OSWALD CHAMBERS

My name is Christine Lind and welcome to An Ideal Life.

I live in the Midwest with my home builder husband, three grown adult children, a tribe of grandchildren, and an annoying Himalayan cat named George.

I am a writer and author, winning the short list for the Eric Hoffer Awards for Flash Fiction with “A Man With A Millstone Around His Neck,” published in Best New Writing 2014. I am an Elite Life Coach, trained Stephen Minister and life-long autodidact, probably stemming from my love of all kinds of books and what’s in them.

I am a Christian woman, who is a true Mary at heart, but who invariably finds herself acting more like the other sister, Martha, who Jesus tenderly rebuked. Sometimes even a good thing is not best; Jesus appreciated Martha’s organizational skills but pointed to her sister’s life as the ideal.

Brew a cup of tea and begin with “My Famous Pie Story.” A story on how God can use your life for his purposes. Hopefully it will give you an idea and entertain you at the same time of what I’m all about.

Then enough about me, I’m interested in you, and what you’re all about. I bet we have a lot in common. Let’s journey together for the ideal – a life that can be used by God – An Ideal Life.
